works good with cell module. The remote does not react good enough with the 3 clicks to start the car. It would be better if you could press and hold the lock button instead. Cell phone adapter works great.
Was indeed 100% plug and play including cellular remote start as well. Now has key fob and cellular remote start. Support is also 100% attentive 11-15 Prius

It is taking longer to write this review than it took to install the kit. The Elantra installation required no tools, dropped a panel under the glovebox that is held in place by three plastic tabs, separated the two connectors next to the glove box, connected the remote starter connectors to the two connectors I just separated, a few seconds to teach the unit about the car, close up the panel, and it was done. The engineering behind this starter is fantastic! My wife absolutely loves it. P.S. Years ago I installed remote starters from a different company in two cars. Each was a nightmare, splicing wires up inside the dashboard. These took hours to complete. Wow! What a difference with the 12Volt.Solutions kit.

To an installation video for 3rd gen/2020 Tacoma. Not helpful for 2nd gen. 2015 Tacoma. Also there is no switch in my package and no instructions on how to switch between cameras. Once installed it unlocks and unlocks doors but a “tach” error comes up so truck won’t remote start
Always simple and good product
Easy install and the video despite being a little outdated still was very helpful, the main box has changed since the video so finding the correct plugs you had to do on your own, programming the box isn’t hard either just follow the video and it works like a dream

Super easy install, works as advertised
I absolutely love my Remote Start System with the Add-On App Module and the Add-On Long Range Remote Kit. This configuration surpasses my expectations. The assistance I received from Jamie and Kade was superb. Still learning how to use the App but I’ll get it. I was stuck with a vehicle that had no FOB and that had a tendency to create some security issues when walking out from the job with my arms full and trying to safely unlock my vehicle. Not anymore! Thank You!!

The kit was delivered 3 days after ordering, and was simple to install, just watch the video and repeat each step. Don't over-pay a shop, instill it yourself!
Love it. So far works great. We will see what happens when it gets really cold. I couldn't believe I had to get an app with Lexus. So glad 12 volt solutions was an option!
Worked great, long range fob opens closes doors and i can turn truck on from my second floor with no problem. Install and documentation needs updating but tech support responded to email within the hour and worked with by email then over the phone.

Excellent, high-quality DIY remote start kit! 12 Volt Solutions puts these together with quick and simple install designed, but you must have general auto repair experience to take apart trim panels and understand where connections under dash at steering column are to be done. Overall, simple install and programming, plug and play, no splicing as promised by 12 Volt Solutions! Highly recommend...yes theres a bit of a higher cost, but worth it not to have to tap in to wiring. OEM remotes work great with this kit!
