Return Policy

30 Day Returns

If you’re not satisfied, you can return items that are complete and like new within 30 days.

ALL RETURNS must include the original packing slip in the returned package.  If you do not have it, please let us know and we can email you a copy.  Retuned items that arrive without the packing slip will not be able to be processed.

1. Get a Return Authorization Ticket Number

To start a return, email us at info@12volt.Solutions with the the word "RETURN" in the subject line. You may also call 1.888.880.8838 to set up a return, although email is the best method.

2. Pack your item carefully

Return items must be in like new condition and in the original packing, complete with all original accessories and documentation. Any missing parts will be deducted from the returned amount owed to you.

3. Shipping your item back

Depending on your return, you may receive a shipping label from our company to be used for the return of your item. If your return does not qualify for a shipping label, you will be required to ship the product back and provide a tracking number. International customers are responsible for shipping charges, taxes and duties.

Your time, shop labor/fees and other expenses are not covered by our refund policy or warranty and will not be reimbursed.

Authorization

No returns will be accepted without a return ticket number/authorization number. Items sent back for a return without authorization will not be processed and returned to you.

Shipping Costs

Depending on your return, you may receive a shipping label from our company to be used for the return of your item. If your return does not qualify for a shipping label, you will be required to ship the product back and provide a tracking number. International customers are responsible for shipping charges, taxes and duties.

Product Condition

Products that have been damaged, modified, or tampered with are not eligible for a refund unless directed to do so by our Technical Support Team. We document all necessary modifications.

Restocking Fees / Return Refusal

12volt.Solutions may refuse a customer return or charge a restocking fee of 10% of the purchase price when the returned item is not like new. Conditions that will lead to a return refusal or restocking fee include when the returned item has:

  • A different serial number than the one that was originally shipped.
  • Missing parts or the original product packing material.
  • Damage because it was improperly packaged for return shipment.
  • Damage from drops, spilled liquid, or mishandling

Return Received

You will receive an email when we receive your return and it is checked into our returns department.

Refund Processed

You will receive an email when your refund has been processed and refunded. Refunds will only be issued to the same credit card, debit card, gift certificate, or other form of payment used in the original transaction. In all other instances, store credit will be given.

How long does my refund take?

After we receive your return, we normally process your refund within 3 business days (M-F). Once we issue a refund, the funds are typically available in your bank account within 5 business days. (Some banks or financial institutions may take longer.)

Exchanging your order

If you need to exchange your order for a different product (example: you purchased the wrong kit for your vehicle and need to get the correct kit), we have a couple options for you:

  1. Send the wrong product back for a refund and then purchase the correct product.
  2. Purchase the correct product and then send the wrong product back for a refund.

In order for our customers to have access to the correct information on our Support Hub platform, we cannot do an "over the counter" type exchange. We will help make sure that you get the correct product that you need, along with the correct Support Hub information.
