- Must have factory hood pin (if you're not sure, open your hood and turn the ignition on. The instrument cluster will says "hood open" if equipped
Operation of System
X3L KIT - (Horn Honk)
- To Start: Press Lock button 3 times on factory key FOB
- To Stop: Press Lock button 3 times again while engine is on
- Parking Lights will illuminate during remote start mode
- Run Time is 15 minutes
- All doors, and hood must be closed
- Horn will honk when activating remote start (go try pressing lock 3 times on your FOB - its a current Ford feature)
LUL KIT - (No Horn Honk)
- To Start: Press the button sequence Lock Unlock Lock on factory key FOB
- To Stop: Press the same button sequence again while engine is on
- Parking Lights will illuminate during remote start mode
- Run Time is 15 minutes
- All doors, and hood must be closed
- Horn will NOT honk when activating remote start
X3L Kit and LUL Kit Explained
These two kits offer the exact same functionality and features. Both Kits use the same module, wiring harness and programming method. The ONLY difference between the two kits is the button sequence you press on your OEM Key FOB. Both Kits are compatible with our Long Range Remotes and our App Module.
Special Notes
- Please note that we offer 2 variations of this kit, X3L (horn honk) and a LUL (no horn honk). Functionality is the exact same for both kits, however the activation button sequence is different between the two (see above)
- Climate settings are automatically set to "Last Setting". This means that where ever you left the climate controls when you exited the vehicle is what will kick on when you activate remote start
- Range is the same as your OEM Key FOB
- Vehicle will NOT shut off when a door is opened
- 10-15 minute installation time

Shipping & Return
xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

Installation was easy. Programming was easy. Had one problem and contacted customer service. The response was swift and the problem was solved. I am very satisfied with the purchase. Would definitely recommend these remote start units.

Amazingly simple, even the OBD2 cable was easy and simple, probably would have had it installed in 5-10 minutes. But….now the do this or fail part.
Never had a remote start before and no where on the directions did it say you must be outside the car with all the doors, hood & trunk closed. So after I got it all installed and programmed, I sat in the drivers seat with the door opening and could not get the remote start to work. After the reset & programming directions came via email, then it included the *important, all doors, hood & trunk must be closed & low fuel light must not be on.
So after starting over, completing the reset & reprogramming directions it worked perfectly, with me outside the car and the door closed. Range is great! The 3XL did not enable any of the dash remote settings, still really happy with my remote start! The guys that help with the trouble shooting were great, really helpful and kept telling me to let them know how it worked. No regrets at all!

I got this for my 2014 Ford Fusion SE. I had it installed in 15-20 minutes and working. I had issues due to a Ford TSB with it only blowing cold air on remote start. I had to have my FCIM module updated at the dealership. Another $150 but thats on Ford. Customer service was helpful with helping me understand what I needed to do. It still didn’t add the remote start in instrument cluster. I search and found forscan software for windows pc. It allows you to add the remote start auto and last setting to cluster for free. You have to get a Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter for FORScan HS/MS-CAN Auto Switch to communicate with the pc. I haven’t tested the range yet of extended remotes. I did notice if you start with aftermarket and stop it it wants to shut right off if you try and start with factory remote next. I found out either order if you unlock and lock vehicle again with either remote when you use the other one it starts and stays running. quirk. No biggie. If it ever wants to keep shutting off just unlock and lock then start amd it’s worked every time for me. Be careful with door seal molding. If you don’t have an upper airbag by window run wire on inside of molding and go in above bottom black trim.

I don't ever write reviews but this product made my day. Bought this for my 2016 Ford Fusion SE... One of the best purchases I have ever made. Very straightforward installation and the instruction videos were clear and easy to follow. The whole process took me less than 30 minutes. The app works flawlessly and surpassed my expectations.
